Acquisition: Intito Oy increases its analytics expertise through an acquisition

24.1.2023

Intito Oy has strengthened its position in the analytics market by acquiring the entire share capital of Soleno Oy, a company based in Oulu, Finland. Together, the companies form a cluster of experts that helps medium-sized and large companies utilize data and artificial intelligence in business planning and, for example, ESG reporting. The acquisition is a part of Intito’s growth strategy aimed at strengthening the company’s operations in Finland and elsewhere in Northern Europe.

There is a growing need for the financial and business management of companies to plan and analyze their business operations in more detail and to meet increasing reporting requirements. By utilizing data, modern technology and artificial intelligence, companies are able to succeed in a highly competitive environment and make better decisions at the right time.

“Companies are looking for skilled partners to solve critical forecasting and reporting challenges. For example, improving the efficiency of supply chain planning or ensuring successful sustainability reporting requires top expertise in both data processing and business processes. We have both, and this acquisition will strengthen our expertise even more,” says Petri Sipola, CEO of Intito Oy.

Promoting growth through expertise

Going forward, Intito will have staff in four cities in Finland. The company aims to significantly increase the number of employees in Oulu. In addition to Finland, Intito has operations in Sweden and Norway, with the aim of continuing to grow in Northern Europe.

“We want our teams to have the best people with whom we can build career paths while working on interesting customer projects. At the same time, we want to push our customers forward in their own work. The merger with Soleno supports these goals very well,” Sipola says.

Soleno has been Intito’s partner for many years now, consistently building the planning and reporting capabilities of its customers through IBM technologies. Both companies have received recognition in IBM’s Data & AI ecosystem.

“Our teams have a good reputation among our customers and partners. Soleno complements Intito’s offering with its multidisciplinary expertise in business planning and reporting, and especially in data processing, data management and artificial intelligence. This acquisition is a natural way to continue our excellent cooperation,” says Keijo Ylitalo, CEO of Soleno Oy.
